Job summary

Interpath Laboratory in Washington state is seeking a Phlebotomist/Processor to join a fast-paced, one-person site. You will draw blood, prepare specimens, and manage data with care while delivering compassionate patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma, WA MA-P phlebotomy cert, and prior phlebotomy experience; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Washington MA-P phlebotomy certification is required.
• Previous phlebotomy experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Administrative duties: Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring instrumentation alarms.
• Technical responsibilities: Performing venipuncture for blood collection, obtaining additional specimen types as required, and preparing all samples for lab testing.
• Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.
• Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Compliance: Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.
• Flexibility: Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.
