Qualifications

• Phlebotomy training is required.
• Certification as a phlebotomist is preferred.
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and processes patient specimens following lab policies and timelines, on- and off-site.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the work area and adequate supplies for efficient laboratory operations.
• Performs laboratory support duties (e.g., order entry, registration, specimen receiving) to ensure efficient operations.
• May mentor students in phlebotomy utilizing WPAHS policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
