Job Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens from patients of all age groups accurately and timely, following all policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional behavior and technical skills, demonstrating excellent customer service as the face of the laboratory.

Schedule

• 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM, shift differentials; rotating weekends and holidays

Requirements

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to prioritize and organize specimen collection with minimal supervision.
• Accurately identify patients using two identifiers and properly label specimens.
• Collect specimens based on orders and established protocols.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified phlebotomy course preferred but not required.
• Mandatory reporting training within 6 months of hire, repeated every 3 years.
