UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary methods, perform EKG and point-of-care testing as required, and ensure accurate labeling and processing of specimens.
The role is non-exempt, full-time with 40 hours weekly, night shifts 10:30 PM–6:30 AM, and every other weekend/holiday. Flex coverage may require travel to other campuses based on department needs.
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
Hiring Range: $19.32 - $36.70

Schedule Details: Holidays - Every Other Holiday, Sunday through Saturday; Weekends - Every Other Weekend

Collects blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary from patients. Performs EKG, pulse oximetry, and point-of-care testing on inpatients and outpatients as required.
FLEX- This is a flex position; staff may be required to travel and provide coverage at other campuses or locations based on the needs of the department.
ESSENTIAL-This is an essential patient care position requiring reliable and punctual attendance. Staff are expected to report to work during inclement weather and emergency conditions.
