Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a phlebotomist to perform blood collections with attention to patient safety, accuracy, and specimen integrity. You will identify patients, label samples, and interact with customers in a courteous manner.

The role includes training new staff and teaching phlebotomy students in a fast-paced laboratory setting, with shifts Monday through Friday 4am–12:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in phlebotomy training or completion of on-the-job training or one-year acceptable work as phlebotomist in a CLIA regulated, accredited laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections in a safe, accurate, and professional manner in a high-paced environment.
• Ensure accurate patient identification, specimen integrity, and proper labeling.
