Job summary

Lumexa Imaging, Inc. in Plano, TX, seeks a Technologist Assistant (Phlebotomist) to support technologists and optimize patient care. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Premium base pay with monthly bonus opportunities and an excellent benefits program.

Responsibilities include patient greeting, pre-exam screening, assisting patients, and ensuring smooth center operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting. High school diploma and phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience running IVs – venipuncture.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to changing room; briefly explains procedure.
• Provides pre-exam screening and instructions.
• Assists patients on and/or off table when requested by technologist.
• Supports technologists throughout scan and IV contrast administration.
• Maintains clean, well-organized, adequately stocked, and safe patient environment.
• Ensures smooth patient throughput of the center and all modalities.
• Attends OSHA training, annual training, and mandatory updates.
• Communicates effectively with in-center staff, licensed providers, and patients.
