Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist III for Avon, CT. The role involves traveling within the territory to patient service centers and client offices, performing venipuncture and capillary draws with high accuracy, and ensuring proper patient identification and labeling.

On-call Saturdays and a Monday-to-Friday schedule are noted. The candidate will work independently in a fast-paced environment, maintain specimen integrity, and uphold Quest’s service standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• English required; travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Obtain patient identification and verify labeling accuracy; perform data entry.
• Travel within territory to PSCs/IOPs; provide professional phlebotomy services.
• Follow safety, privacy, and compliance protocols; maintain accurate records.
