Quest Diagnostics in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekends. Pay range is $23.20–$24.90 per hour, with potential annual performance bonus. The role involves collecting specimens, documenting orders, operating lab systems, and maintaining accurate records.

High school diploma and phlebotomy experience required; certification preferred. Excellent communication in English and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify test orders and enter data in lab systems.
• Navigate computer systems and maintain billing information.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocks, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
