Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Fairfax, VA. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational weekends. The position offers a pay range of $23.20 - $24.90 per hour and potential annual bonus based on performance.

The role requires a HS diploma, phlebotomy experience, and the ability to communicate in English. Eligible benefits include medical, wellness programs, and a 401(k) with company match, among others.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric tests.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Follow department policies and procedures; maintain logs and stats.
• Complete training courses in a timely manner.
