Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Midlothian, VA, Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotating weekends. The role collects specimens, performs basic testing tasks, and ensures accurate data entry in lab systems.

A minimum of three years phlebotomy experience and strong customer service skills are required. Qualifications include a high school diploma, medical training preferred, and phlebotomy certification preferred where applicable.

Competenze

• Three years phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime. Must have reliable transportation.

Mansioni

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screening.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact; ensure accurate data entry.
• Navigate computer systems and maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, sanitizing, and answering phones.
