Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Hopewell, VA, Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM with rotational weekend. The role collects specimens, uses lab systems, and handles data entry.

Salary range $21.50-$23.05 per hour with potential annual bonus; benefits include medical, retirement plans, paid time off, and education assistance. Candidates should have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, HS diploma, and phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience and ability to navigate lab systems.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; driver license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, etc.).
• Prepare and process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting.
• Enter data accurately and verify orders using lab systems.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and assist with statistics and reporting.
• Support with inventory, sanitation, and routine duties as needed.
• Comply with departmental policies and training requirements.
