Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Westmont, IL is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and perform basic testing tasks in a fast-paced clinical lab. This full-time role supports patient care with accuracy and compassion. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with Wednesday off.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, incl. pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification preferred (CA/NV/WA required).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze and prepare specimens for transport as required by test order.
• Verify orders and enter data using lab technology systems; maintain logs and records.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, and answering phones.
• Complete training courses timely and comply with policies and procedures.
