Job summary

TalentBurst seeks an onsite Phlebotomist in Emerald Isle, NC for a 4+ month contract. The role requires drawing blood, labeling specimens, and preparing samples for lab analysis, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will work 8 hours daily, Mon-Fri, with some weekend coverage as needed. Under supervision, you'll handle demographic verification, accurate documentation, and adherence to Health & Safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: med assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain a safe, accurate workflow.
• Maintain records and ensure patient confidentiality.
