Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our client’s healthcare team in Cumberland, ME 04103. The role involves blood collections, specimen processing, and patient registration with a focus on accuracy, quality, and excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood collections and prepare specimens for testing.
• Verify patient information, ensure accurate specimen labeling, and maintain required documentation.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care while explaining collection procedures.
• Process clinical and forensic specimens following established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Support multiple locations as needed while maintaining quality, accuracy, and excellent customer service.
