Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Turners Falls, MA 01376. The role requires performing blood collections, specimen processing, and patient registration while ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service.

Schedule is Days / Eastern, 8 am to 5 pm. This is a local contract for 18 weeks with pay range of $17.50 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience and credentialing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood collections and prepare specimens for testing.
• Verify patient information, ensure accurate specimen labeling, and maintain required documentation.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care while explaining collection procedures.
• Process clinical and forensic specimens following established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Support multiple locations as needed while maintaining quality, accuracy, and excellent customer service.
