Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Cumberland, ME team. The role involves venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, data entry, and handling billing tasks. Travel to additional sites is required, with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 am–10:00 am and 2 hours per day.

We value exceptional customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Phlebotomy certification or comparable training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or training, or 6+ months experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to additional sites when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
