Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Duluth, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team on Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will collect specimens, navigate lab systems, and support billing processes in a fast-paced medical setting.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Must be flexible and available weekends/holidays/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information, collecting payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, sanitizing, filing, and handling communications.
