TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 4-month assignment in Clearwater, FL. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Under supervision, you will ensure patient safety and confidentiality while delivering quality care. The position requires flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts and potential overtime, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada and Washington.
• Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience; 1+ years preferred.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
• Under supervision, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Maintain a safe, professional environment and protect patient confidentiality.
