Qualifications

• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain a compassionate, confidential environment.
• Verify patient demographic info and correct tube labeling post-venipuncture.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Work under supervision, with potential assignments to multiple locations as needed.
