Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Hampstead, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The role focuses on specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to department procedures. The position offers hourly pay and potential bonuses based on performance.

Required: three years of phlebotomy experience (pediatric, geriatric, capillary), HS diploma, and valid driver’s license where applicable. Certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, sanitation and filing.
• Read and comply with department policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.
• Complete training courses timely.
