GTT is seeking a Phlebotomist II for the first shift in Philadelphia, PA, onsite. The role involves drawing blood, labeling specimens, and ensuring patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Travel to multiple Patient Service Centers may be required with minimal notice. The candidate should have a High school diploma, medical/phlebotomy training, and phlebotomy certification where required; three years of experience and strong customer service skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Adherence to all Policies & Procedures including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.
• Good judgment and decision making based on established procedures.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver license, if applicable.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
• Strong customer focus and ability to communicate openly with peers, supervisors and patients.

Responsabilités

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info and signatures post-venipuncture to ensure correct labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
