Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for the 1st shift in Nashua, NH. This contract position runs for 2 months, onsite with flexible locations as needed. The role involves collecting blood samples, labeling specimens, and ensuring accuracy while maintaining patient trust and safety.

Requirements include HS diploma, phlebotomy certification preferred, and three years of phlebotomy experience with pediatric and geriatric collections. Overtime and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Perform verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
