Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Longview, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist II to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The role focuses on specimen collection, patient interaction, and accurate data entry in a fast-paced lab environment.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens (drug screens, biometric screenings), verifying orders in lab systems, and maintaining thorough phlebotomy logs. A high school diploma and phlebotomy experience are required, with certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test/client orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and correctly enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Handle non-patient facing duties like inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones and emails.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance records on schedule.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
