Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist II for Hamilton, GA, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role involves specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to department procedures. Eligible candidates may receive annual bonuses; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Requirements include at least three years of phlebotomy experience, data entry skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. High school diploma and phlebotomy cert preferred; driver’s license may be needed.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training records.
• Complete training courses timely.
