Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Evans, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a Mon-Thu 8:00–5:00 and Fri 8:00–12:00 schedule. The role involves collecting specimens, processing orders, and maintaining accurate data entry and logs. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible schedule includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training guidelines.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data for successful processing.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with data submission and statistics as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs as applicable.
• Complete training courses timely.
