Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Castle Rock, CO is seeking a Phlebotomist II to support our clinical lab operations. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational Saturdays. Pay range is $23.00–$26.26 per hour, with eligibility for annual performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments per policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with compiling and submitting statistics and data as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance, temperature logs) timely.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
