Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client’s healthcare facility in Alpharetta, GA. The schedule is Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM EST. This local contract spans 13+ weeks with a pay range of $24 to $26 per hour.

Nursing and patient-focused duties include venipuncture, specimen processing, and accurate record-keeping. Required: High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience is REQUIRED.
• Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection accurately and safely.
• Perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Handle clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing per procedures.
• Verify patient demographic information and obtain required signatures.
• Ensure specimen tubes are properly labeled in the patients presence.
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing.
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
• Provide a professional, welcoming, and reassuring experience for patients.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
