Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Lincoln, NE. The role runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekends. The pay range starts at $20.00 per hour, with potential annual bonus eligibility based on performance and company factors.

The position requires three years of phlebotomy experience, data entry skills, and a valid driver’s license. Education includes a high school diploma; medical training or phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client communication.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient-facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
