Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience and accurate data handling are required.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, exams).
• Enter data and verify orders using lab systems and client information.
• Process specimens (label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze) and prepare for transport.
• Perform non-patient tasks: inventory, sanitation, filing, calls and emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs, training completions, and statistics as required.
