Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Burbank, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires a valid state phlebotomy license (NHA licenses not accepted in CA) and includes a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend rotation.

Salary ranges from $25.80 to $27.65 per hour, with opportunities for performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Candidates should have strong data entry skills, good communication, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver�s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent; medical training preferred; phlebotomy certification preferred in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient-facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and compliance with policies.
• Complete training courses timely.
