Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Atlanta, GA, Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM. The role requires at least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, and entails specimen collection, data entry, and lab processing.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client information.
• Enter data accurately on a computer.
• Process specimens for transport (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training completion.
