Quest Diagnostics Incorporated seeks a Phlebotomist II for Wellfleet, MA. Schedule includes Mon-Wed, Fri 8:30-5:00 and Thu 9:30-6:00 with rotational weekends. Pay range is $23.20-$24.90 per hour.

The role involves specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to lab procedures in a busy clinical setting. Position requires 3 years of phlebotomy experience, HS diploma, and strong English communication. Certification preferred; driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information following policies.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones and email.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with statistics/data submission when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance, temperature) timely.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
