Responsibilities

• Assist in performing assigned duties, troubleshooting and training.
• Experience with blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging and data maintenance.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match requisitions to specimens, label, centrifuge, split and freeze as required.
• Store specimens per temperature requirements and ensure transport integrity.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and respond to inquiries about results.
