Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months’ phlebotomy experience required.
• Customer service in a preferred retail or service environment.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervision.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors with focus on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
