Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 3-month contract in Bridgeport, CT. The role is on-site, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a pay rate of $17.50–$23.00 per hour (USD) and on-site travel to multiple locations as needed.

The Phlebotomist II collects blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, verifies demographics, and maintains records while upholding safety and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CT phlebotomy certification required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, and WA.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred where not state-required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform venipuncture and processing of specimens following established procedures.
• Verify patient demographics and labeling post-venipuncture.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
