The position emphasizes specimen collection, testing preparation, data entry accuracy, and adherence to safety and policy protocols within a full-time, on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driverC license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Review test orders and verify information using lab systems and client contacts.
• Enter data accurately and efficiently on computer systems.
• Enter billing information and collect payments following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, and emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and departmental records.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
