Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in La Fayette, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. This role collects specimens and performs related duties with precision.

The position requires three years of phlebotomy experience and strong data entry skills; certification is preferred and medical training is a plus. Compensation includes a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions; maintain logs.
