Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Jamestown, NY is seeking a Phlebotomist I for a Monday–Friday shift from 6:15 AM to 12:45 PM with rotational weekends. The role includes specimen collection, data entry, and ensuring accuracy in patient workflow.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification is preferred and medical training is a plus. One year phlebotomy experience and customer service background are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV and WA).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Navigate computer systems to enter data accurately.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and inventory.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as stocking and filing.
