The job requires three years of phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma, with phlebotomy certification preferred in some states. Salary starts at $21.50 per hour with potential annual performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Strong data entry and computer navigation skills are needed.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as required.
• Ability to transport and handle specimens accurately and securely.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures and orders.
• Administer oral solutions as trained, and verify orders in systems.
• Process and label specimens, prepare for transport and testing.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and essential quality records.
• Handle billing information and perform non-patient duties as needed.
