Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Cumming, GA seeks a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens from pediatric to adult patients on a Monday–Thursday schedule (7:30 AM–4:30 PM). The role emphasizes accuracy, patient communication, and adherence to procedures in a fast-paced lab setting.

You will navigate lab information systems, document results, and ensure proper specimen handling while delivering compassionate service. Requires three years of phlebotomy experience, HS diploma, and certification preferred;

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available on weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Enter data accurately and navigate computer systems.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, and preparing for transport.
• Support non-patient facing duties such as inventory and sanitation.
