Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Frederick, MD, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekends. The pay range is $22.35 - $23.95 per hour.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, processing, data entry, and adherence to safety and billing procedures. Qualifications require 3 years of phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma; phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, emails).
• Follow departmental policies and maintain required logs.
• Assist with statistics submission and data reporting.
• Complete training courses timely.
