Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Cleburne, TX, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with rotational weekends. Pay range starts at $22.35+ per hour. Responsibilities include collecting specimens, verification of orders, data entry, and sample processing.

Requires 3 years phlebotomy experience and high school diploma; medical training or certification preferred. Position offers comprehensive benefits, opportunities for advancement, and annual incentive plans.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent; medical training preferred; phlebotomy certification preferred (California, Nevada, and Washington).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, email.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and calibration logs.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
