Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Shallotte, NC, with a Monday to Thursday schedule and a Friday half-day. The position offers a starting pay range of $20.00+ per hour, with annual bonus potential based on performance.

The role emphasizes accurate specimen collection and data entry in a patient-focused laboratory environment. Responsibilities include labeling, processing, and transporting specimens, maintaining logs, and adhering to all safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard and data entry experience required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, with a clean driving record if applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsabilidades

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, shipping, filing, phones, email.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Complete training courses on time.
