Quest Diagnostics in Oak Park, IL is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens, process tests, and support billing and data entry. The role requires accurate data entry, adherence to procedures, and flexible hours, including Saturdays on a rotational basis.

Qualified candidates will have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and medical training with phlebotomy certification preferred. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training completion.
