Title: Phlebotomist II
Duration: 3 months
Shift: 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST, Mon-Fri and every other weekend

Description:
- The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients, assisting with health routines and health decisions.
- The PSR II draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing, following established procedures.
- Creates an atmosphere of trust with patients, explaining procedures and drawing blood safely and accurately.
- Demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy.
- Assignments may include doctor's offices, patient service centers, or other locations as needed.
- Performs daily activities accurately and on time under supervision.
- Maintains a safe and professional environment.
- Performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following protocols.
- Verifies patient demographic information and labels tubes in the presence of the patient.
- Maintains records and documentation.
- Promotes a positive image to patients, clients, and the public.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
- Adherence to policies, dress code, safety, and guiding principles.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record if applicable.
- Willingness to travel and work at multiple locations with short notice.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
- Strong customer focus and communication skills.
- Training location may vary.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in CA, NV, WA.
Work Experience:
- At least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Preferred: 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment.
- Customer service experience in retail or service sectors; keyboard/data entry skills.
