Shift: Day, 28 hours/week
Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 8:00am-1:30pm (no lunch), Tuesday and Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm (30 minutes lunch)
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients who come in, whether as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
The PSR II draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
It involves direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence, explaining procedures, and drawing blood specimens safely, accurately, and skillfully.
The PSR II demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.
Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center, or as dictated by business needs.
Under the supervision of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and timely, maintaining a safe and professional environment.
Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
Verify patient demographic information, including initials and signature post-venipuncture, to ensure tubes are labeled correctly and in patient presence.
Maintain required records and documentation.
Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public, demonstrating organizational commitment.
