Job Title: Phlebotomist II

Duration: 2 months

Location: Roswell, Georgia, United States, 30076

Shift: 7:30am - 4:30pm EST

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Summary

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents our company to patients, either as part of their routine health care or for health insights. The PSR II draws quality blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, and follows established procedures. It involves direct patient contact, creating trust and confidence, and explaining procedures clearly. The role emphasizes leadership, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy. Applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, patient service center, or as needed. Under supervision, perform daily activities accurately, maintain a safe environment, and handle both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing. Verify patient information post-venipuncture, maintain records, and promote a positive image.

Job Requirements

1. Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Education

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

3. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience

1. Minimum three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
2. Preferred two years in a Patient Service Center environment.
3. Customer service experience in retail or service settings preferred.
4. Keyboard/data entry experience.
