Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric specimen collections.
• Verify patient identification and label specimens in the patient’s presence.
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing while maintaining integrity and compliance.
• Maintain patient records and documentation accurately and confidentially.
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties.
• Provide exceptional customer service while creating a professional, welcoming environment for patients.
• Travel to multiple locations as needed to support operational and staffing requirements.

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric specimen collections following established procedures and quality standards
• Verify patient identification and ensure specimens are accurately labeled in the patient's presence
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing while maintaining specimen integrity and compliance standards
• Maintain required patient records and documentation accurately and confidentially
• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties
• Provide exceptional customer service while creating a professional, welcoming environment for patients
• Travel to multiple locations as needed to support operational and staffing requirements
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Excellent phlebotomy skills with the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment
• Customer service experience in a healthcare, retail, or service environment highly preferred
• Experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred
• Strong keyboarding, data entry, communication, and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
• Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
