Job summary

Volt is actively hiring a Phlebotomist I for a full-time, 3-month contract at 291 Broad St, Kernersville, NC 27284. Training may occur at 2530 Empire Dr, Winston Salem, NC 27103. Shift is 07:30am-05:30pm, Monday to Friday. Requires 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience and ability to work with diverse patient ages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Experience drawing blood from patients of all ages and proficiency with both straight and butterfly needles.
• Detail oriented with good data entry and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients of all ages.
• Perform venipuncture and handle difficult sticks.
• Process glucose tests and pap specimens for shipment.
• Maintain accurate records and enter data promptly.

• Hard sticks and needles.
• Processing glucose tests, and processing pap specimens to be shipped out..
• Detail oriented and good experience.
• Computer skills.
• Data Entry and processing.
• Must have at least 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience,proficient in using both straight and butterfly needles.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Blood Draws
• Venipuncture

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 years of experience.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Working with hard sticks

Pay Rate: <$20 - $22 per hour>

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
