Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Merced, CA for a 3+ month assignment with Mon-Fri 7:30 am–4:30 pm and rotating Saturday shifts. Responsibilities include drawing blood, preparing specimens, and maintaining accurate records while delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Maintain required records and documentation of procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure a safe, confidential environment.
